SILS 2018 sponsors a limited number of bursaries for persons requiring financial assistance. Bursaries will cover registration fees, shared accommodation on campus, and a small contribution toward travel expenses. Please note we have limited funds available and will not be able to cover full travel expenses. Final amounts will be determined based on need and total number of applications. Preference will be given to students and to those presenting at the Symposium, but all are encouraged to apply. Please contact Lisa Crowshoe, Superintendent of Education, Peigan Board of Education, by email (director@piikani.ca) or phone (+1-403-965-3910) to apply BY MAY 1. In your email indicate: Your name and full contact information; Your status (undergraduate/graduate student / community member); Your affiliation (your university and/or tribal affiliation); The title of your presentation (if applicable); Where you will be travelling from; Why you do not have access to other funds to cover expenses. You may be asked to provide additional information. Once you are approved for financial assistance you will be registered manually and your on-campus accommodation will be booked for you as well. Please DO NOT register or book accommodation through the online system. You will only need to take care of your own travel arrangements.
